[[Boy howdy did Iron Done come in handy]]
It did, but like youmpoint out, it depleted massive amounts of $$ and depleted muni5ions used to defend themselves. The drones supposedly only cost a few thousand dollars apiece, but the rockets and munitions used to shoot them down cost millions-
The a t tack last night exposed a possible weakness because
One of the tactics the enemy will likely use is to flood the skies with cheap drones, get,Israel to deplete the8r stores of r9ckets, then the enemy will launch more serious attacks with more sophisticated missiles of their own.
Their, iron dome is great, and saved a great many lives, but the enemy learned last night how to counter it cheaply somewhat by sending a flood of cheap drones-
Then there needs to be a cheap version of Iron Dome to take out cheap drones en masse.
Leave the top shelf Iron Dome in waiting for the real stuff.
Probably not true. Where is thr proove that they are running low? I highly doubt the munitions are that costly and there is also no evidence iran was holding back more sophisticated rockets of their own. The government lies so who really knows. One of the obvious things from the attack is Iran is no longer deterred. They either asessed that Israel would respond or that there would be no response snd they attacked Israel directly from their own country anyways. I wonder which reality is worst.
I wouldn't be surprised if this round was to test Israel's defenses...gather electronic intelligence...and deplete their stock.
