It’s funny. Iran’s been at war with us since ‘79-44 years. We’re not at war with them but we’ve gone to war with both both Iraq and Afghanistan, 2 less hostile ones. I only remember one Iran oil platform being bombed under Reagan I think.
So why have we not gone after them more often? Was it the hostage release agreement?
Taking out Solimani was good but too little too late. Mining their horrors would have really put the screws to them. 44 years to do it.
Mining the harbors would have killed no civilians. Shouda done it after 911. Instead we blame Saddam.
We did instigate a coup against Iran's leadership in 1953.
