How can it possibly take hours to clear them from the road? To me, the obvious solution is to call airport, police, state, police, sheriff, local police, etc. And once you get say, a dozen officers on scene just start cuffing them and putting them on the side of the road and repeat the process. I’m sure they have tow trucks on call to move the vehicles quickly if they don’t want to give up the keys.
I am sure the delay was from the blue governors having to decide what they should do and perhaps they had to discuss it with their leftist superiors.
