Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), on Sunday insisted he had received reports showing that part of the weapons fired by the force toward Israel had directly hit their targets, IRNA reported.
“Our information on all of the hits is not complete yet but on that part of the hits that we have accurate, documented, and field-related reports show that this operation has been carried out with a success that exceeded the expectation,” Salami said.

Up until just a couple weeks ago, Ukraine was still claiming 100% shoot-down rate
So take everything with lots of salt....
Still, It was certainly a humiliation for the Islamic Republic especially that fellow Muslim countries acted against it in face of the infidel-Israel.

Get utterly defeated, then parade around claiming a huge victory.
But if it wasn’t true, we’d hear about it. No shortage of Israel’s enemies in ME to show that, bragging, were it not true.
General ‘Salami’?
I think I see part of Iran’s problems.
They sure must not have expected much in that case. Must have done it as a prank.
The centerpiece of our military strategy is to hide the Salami.

May have been very successful from the perspective of them now knowing the lay of the land as far as Israel’s defenses are concerned.
In keeping with the Biden’s administration of proportional response I would suggest the same number of drones and ICBMs be launched at Iran. Iran’s counter measures for such are almost non existent. Unless the drone or missile fails in flight due to mechanical reasons, IT WILL HIT ITS TARGET.
Suggested list of targets:
1. 43 for the 43 oil storage tanks on Kharg Island. 80% of Iran’s oil revenue is via Kharg Island. Their economy would collapse. Hit the principal oil pumping stations also. You can not go down to Home Depot for repair parts. It could take a long time. Also destroy the docking ports for oil tankers. That is easy. Mine access to Kharg Island from air dropped smart mines. They lay on the bottom and only come up to destroy when they detect the correct acoustic from a tanker.
2. Iran’s nuclear facilities.
3. Electrical facilities feeding power to nuclear facilities.
4. All political leadership if you know where they are.
Depends what the targets were. Iran and its allies are claiming they hit a desert airbase and "secret" Mossad base in Northern Golan. Is it true? Was anything destroyed? Who knows....
There are no civilians with cells phones in those areas and the military isn't going to say.
Anyway, we armchair generals are all operating in a fog....
