A potential juror in former President Donald Trump’s Stormy Daniels ‘hush money’ trial was excused from service after she admitted to concerns about her impartiality upon being officially sworn in by Judge Juan Merchan.
In a recent development inside the New York courtroom, a young nurse, one of the seven jurors who had been preliminarily selected to serve on the jury as of Tuesday, expressed her inability to remain unbiased, Time Magazine reported.
Her concerns were brought to light following inquiries from her friends and family who suspected her role as a juror based on media reports.
“Yesterday alone, I had friends and family push things to me,” she revealed to the court. Expressing a stark acknowledgment of her compromised position, she stated, “I don’t think at this point that I can be fair and unbiased.”
In response to this incident, Judge Merchan lambasted the mainstream media for excessive exposure of juror information.

Yes, but she is also admitting that she lacks discernment and integrity in that she can not look at facts and be unbiased. We are lost as a nation.

I think her friends put this to her: ever after this foregone conviction, your name will be Mudd; the dice of your life will have been cast; is it worth it to have this hanging over you the rest of your life?

Does the judge think that the jurors will not face pressure from friends and relatives? And he doesn’t want to sequester the jury? This judge is orchestrating a train wreck, on purpose.
If jurors are being threatened or tampered with it should be immediate ground for mistrial .

Just heard that juror #4 has had an arrest in the past for ripping down political posters, he was summoned to court by 9:45 this morning but has not showed.
I don’t know. I’ve never been called for jury duty. Do you have to raise your hand and take an oath to tell the truth when questioned in the screening process? If so I’d say yes she perjured herself.
