Not every Republican in Congress wants a secure border. Not every Republican in Congress opposes shoveling money to the Ukraine War. Johnson has to deal with that. By the end of this week Republicans will only have (I think) one more vote in the House than the Democrats do. Clearly, Johnson can only do so much.
Doing nothing would be a good place to start.

True enough. But the Democrats can and do raise all sorts of hell when they have a slim majority. Republicans don’t have that same fighting mentality.
That’s the best I can say about the GOP these days. They play wiffle ball while the Democrats play hard ball.
