If Crimea were an island, it could have become the Russian Formosa/Taiwan back in Soviet days. That was the premise for a Russian novel fifty years ago. But it isn’t an island.
Did I not see photos of a large bridge being constructed to facilitate the Russian railway from Mariupol onto Crimea? I’m sure I did.
