A former senior policy advisor to Hillary Clinton and former president Barack Obama’s administration is facing jail time for sex crimes involving young children.
Rahamim Shy, 46, was arrested by British police in Bedfordshire in February this year after being accused of arranging the commission of a child sex offense, according to The Daily Mail.
Shy was also charged with possession of two category C indecent images of children and possessing a prohibited image of a child.
He appeared in Luton Crown Court via video on Friday.
Shy, an American citizen living in New Jersey, worked for the White House under Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
During his time at the White House, he was responsible for directing the US government’s strategy to combat Islamist terrorists, such as the Taliban and Al Qaeda.
Between 2008 and 2014, Shy worked in a senior role at the US Treasury Department, advising officials on countering the financing of terrorism and imposing sanctions on hostile regimes.

He also provided strategic policy analysis to chiefs of staff at the Department of Defense (DOD)
Shy also traveled to Afghanistan to provide “expertise” to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), a NATO-led group that is responsible for maintaining stability after America’s invasion.
Not long after Shy left the White House, he held various top executive positions at Citi Bank.
However, a spokesman at the bank confirmed Shy is no longer employed there.
The Daily Mail reported that Shy provided ISAF with counter-terrorism finance expertise and then presented the US strategy on Afghanistan to a congressional hearing in 2010.
Shy was a student at Rutgers University in New Jersey and went on to study international security policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in New York.
Shy got his training from Obozo.

He arrested by British police in Bedfordshire in February. Obama was in England in mid-March. So yes, the timing is certainly interesting.
He’ll probably endure and incur some embarrassment and legal fees before being cleared of all charges and hired on at Harvard.

In the article it shows his pronouns as "he/him". I don't think it's a matter of him suffering from gender confusion, but that he's part of the cult that assumes everyone else around him is confused and needs his gender spelled out.
