Europe—but Not NATO—Should Send Troops to Ukraine
Foreign Affairs ^ | 4/22/24 | Alex Crowther, Phillips O’Brien

taboo has been broken in Europe. Only a few months ago, it would have been inconceivable for European leaders to propose sending European troops to Ukraine. But on February 26, French President Emmanuel Macron said the deployment of European forces to Ukraine could not be “ruled out.” Since then, other European officials have joined the chorus; the Finnish defense minister and Polish foreign minister have both suggested that their countries’ forces could end up in Ukraine. These comments, combined with existing support for such measures in the Baltic states, show that there is a growing bloc of countries open to direct European intervention in the war.

The evolution of narrative change begins in neocon rags and group think tanks like Foreign Affairs. There have been reports all over the non Western press about French forces arriving as we speak. The Pentagon has committed to sending more “advisors”. Who can argue what the of sight of Uke flag waving warmongers in Congress means? The will is there, we just need a Gulf of Odessa Resolution catalytic event to find the way.

Ruzzia has troops in Ukraine so why can’t anyone else put troops in Ukraine?

For the hundredth time, Ukraine ASKS for weapons, not foreign soldiers.

It’s a European problem, let Europe handle it.

"...so why can’t anyone else put troops in Ukraine?"

So, you're OK with China sending a half million troops to Ukraine to help Ruzzia wrap this up. I agree.

For the hundredth time, that narrative has been shot to hell just like many of the thousands of NATO troops already sent.

I didn’t believe it at first, but in the halls of woke/neocon DC, their Ukraine adventure is viewed as an existential, apocalyptic and millennial event for themselves and their power

“It's a European problem, let Europe handle it.”

A criminal thug syndicate on the other side of town is a threat to everyone in the town and is therefore the business of everyone in the town. Russia is the criminal thug on the other side of town. Defunding Ukraine makes about as much sense as defunding the police.

It’s a European problem, let Europe handle it.

So no more NATO? And Taiwan is an Asian problem, let Asia handle it. And Iran is an Middle East problem, let the Middle East handle it.

So we disengage from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the rest of the world, and then hope the world somehow ends up better.

Helping the enemy of our enemy makes sense, especially if not one drop of US blood is sacrificed..

The united states has delivered most of the money and arms needed for ukraine to push forward in this battle

Europe meanwhile remains nothing but a bunch of dishonest grifters who have Pledge the hell of a lot but Delivered in actuality almost nothing

A lot hinges upon Germany, a country that wants very much to restore trade relations with Russia.

Simply: Germany refuses to lead defense production output sent to Ukraine, but will send output as long as the U.S.A. gets the blame for being the leader.

IMHO

China couldn’t land 500000 people in the Ukraine. Nor Do they have the logistics to support

She’s one of the world’s greatest women snipers, she should be there herself considering she claims to make head-shots on coyotes at a mile.
