Michael Douglas, 79, says Biden, 81, isn't too old for a second term: 'We all have an issue with memory when we get older!'

Michael Douglas has given his take on whether Joe Biden is too old to run again.

During a Sunday appearance on CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS, the Oscar-winner, 79, was asked whether Biden was in good enough cognitive shape to continue.

'Well I think that I walk a little similar to him, and the people that I've talked to say he is as sharp as a tack... he's fine,' Douglas, two years Biden's junior, said.

'We all have an issue with memories as we get older, we forget names.

'He's overcome a stutter in his life and sometimes he might [stutter], but let's just say his entire cabinet including his vice-president would be more than happy to work with him again in the next term.

'I cannot say that about the other candidate running because nobody in his in his cabinet for 2016 wants to be involved with him,' he said of Trump.

Zakaria further pushed Douglas, asking whether Biden would be able to run the country four years from now, when he is well into his 80s. If Biden, already the oldest president ever, wins re-election, he will be 86 by the end of his second term.

'I think he'll be fine, thank you very much,' repeated the actor, who plays Benjamin Franklin on Apple TV's Franklin, which depicts the founding father's time in Paris during the Revolutionary War.

'This is probably the most important election of my lifetime. This is the most critical time of my lifetime that I can remember. We need somebody in control who has some experience and knows how to work a global situation.'

Michael Douglas is an extraordinary actor -- he read his lines while keeping a straight face.

Apparently Douglas has almost the same mental ability as Biden

They talk about him playing Benjamin Franklin as if that gives him the gravitas to speak on the current election. Michael Douglas can say what he wants to say. He can support Biden if he wants to. But no one cares. He’s an actor with an opinion. They’re a dime a dozen.

I was actually waiting for Michael Douglas’ opinion before I decided for whom I would vote.

Why do they always ask play actors their opinions? They live in a make believe world.

Isn’t it odd that they describe him as sharp as a tack, yet we can clearly see and hear how confused he is when he appears in public? It’s a regular conundrum, I tell ya!

Sharp as a tack?

A tack is a dumb object, with no memory whatsoever, and no intelligence at all. It hurts if you hold it the wrong way, and Biden has been hurting the country while doing wrong in many ways.

So, Biden is a thumb tack.

Like you get a pass on terrible decisions if you’re demented. “Oh. It’s OK that he started a war. He’s demented. If he weren’t demented and started a war, then that would be a problem.”

'Well I think that I walk a little similar to him, and the people that I've talked to say he is as sharp as a tack... he's fine,' Douglas, two years Biden's junior, said.

So you haven't sat down with Biden and tried to have a conversation with him yourself, you're relying on what other people tell you?

The left is trying to make it about the years because Biden and Trump are not much different in years, but it isn’t the years it is the mental condition, the media also tries to compensate by saying how lean and fit Biden is, which is meaningless, if a good, mentally sharp 80 year old leader develops a physical problem like bad knees or an eye issue it doesn’t matter as long as his brain is 100%.

Biden is mentally unfit, whether he was 60 or 70 or 81, doesn’t matter, the medical condition has hit him and that is that, Dementia isn’t universal but if you get it, there it is, and it didn’t matter if you were 60 or 90 when it came on.
