NEW YORK (PIX11) – Thousands of people reported Chase bank’s app and website outages Wednesday afternoon, according to Downdetector.
The outage peaked just before 2 p.m. with over 7,000 people reporting the outage. By 3:10 p.m., that number had dropped to around 3,000, Downdetector shows.
“We are working to restore full service. Please try again later,” reads an alert at the top of Chase’s website.

Chase has actually been down since early Friday. I tried to make a credit card payment and it said “Unrecognized device” even though I’ve used the same device to make the payment for the last three years. Then they offered to text a recovery code to a phone number I haven’t had for 23 years.
Chase Bank is called Chase because like an old dog all they do is Chase their tales !
