The White House punted on Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) demand for President Biden to call in the National Guard to college campuses amid mass protests over the Israel-Hamas war on Thursday.
Johnson visited Columbia University on Wednesday, the first of major pro-Palestine protests that have spread to dozens of college campuses around the country, and said that Biden should call in the National Guard to quell the peaceful demonstrations.

The states can call up the national guard under their title 32 authority. Under title 32, the Guard can have detention and arrest powers as a state police officer and they do not fall under the posse comitatus as reserve and active troops would. it is just the states pay for the call up not the feds. So the president doesn’t have to do anything but the governors would take any political fallout. Most of the agitation is still small so the police can handle these problems.
Just wait until the Dem Nat. Convention. Mayhem.

The GOP position on this matter should be to ELECT TRUMP.
That means point out all the Israel support positions of Biden.
Nothing else matters than winning Michigan and that happens by having Dearborn stay home. The GOP doesn’t have to be pro Palestinians. It just has to shut the hell up and let Biden lose Dearborn.
