Yes, China is hoping to damage BOTH (USA and Russia) economies with the war in Ukraine.

From China’s perspective, it is a perfect scenario. The longer it lasts, the better for China.

China taking a page out of Stalins play book. Unfortunately for Stalinthe Germans were more efficient in it’s conquest of Europe. Things seem to be going more favorable for China while their two biggest enemies (Russia and the West) deplete each other’s resources.

Not really. This war ended China’s “Belt and Road” gambit for conquering the world. They had a window of time to make this happen and now the moment is passed. China is now stuck holding trillions in bad debt on useless, incomplete, and crumbling infrastructure.

But they can still take back what was once theirs and I hope they do.
