Yes, we need Trump no matter the VP. Having a VP who increases the chance of getting Trump is a positive. But, there is an awful lot that needs doing for just 4 years, and much that needs to stick post-Trump. Having a VP who can carry Trump’s ball post ‘28 and reinforce his changes, rather than a non-true believer or a weakling who lets them be undone, is also essential. Remember the harm from Reagan making the ‘safe’ pick of Bush the Elder. Pappy reverted to his pre-VP form and squandered Reagan’s legacy.
Exactly. If i thought (i don’t) that Nikki Haley as VP was the only way to get Trump elected I’d be on the birdbrain wagon so fast.
