This may effect a lot of cases, so they may care,
It also affected many officers who were set up to be fired. And the corrupt / abusive ones stayed. So, they will soon be gone.
Tax payers are on the hook for 30+ law suits - who knows how many more are coming.

This isn't just blood in the water. It's as if the blood from ten thousand cows was saved up and dumped into a school of sharks. There are more State and Federal laws broken here than they are going to initially admit. The civil lawsuits, again in State and Federal courts will go into the hundreds of millions of dollars. Plus, as mentioned in the article, who knows how many thousands of criminal cases now have to be reviewed because of unethical conduct by the DA's office. This all might be settled in about 25 years, it's THAT massive!
