young people either don’t hang out together anymore or they hang but don’t drink or they just sit home alone and text each other..

I think a part of it is that our country was shut down due to covid-19, and they got used to texting each other, Snapchat and TikTok.

No need to go out and buy a drink.

In 1987 i turned 20.
That era everything we did whether hanging over a buddies house, fixing cars, fishing, doing anything...
included drinking beer.

That fad is over i think.
The fad of young friends hanging out all of the time is mostly over as well i imagine.
