I may vote, but the absurdity of the poll astounds me, as do the so-far results.

Something stinks--the ratio is stuck. One would think that it might oscillate just a little.

Why am I worried? We are fighting against a repressive socio-cultural system and we want to turn ours into something similar?

More Government involvement in my life. . .?

No. . .do not want Government 'IN' my life. Would accept some measures of restrictive access to enhance security but that is probably the most I would want. . . (except changing laws for 'some situations' and allowing easier/greater access for wire taps where terrorism is suspected. . .)

My feeling is we start with making the 'Left', the 'groupthink' which now should take the mantle of 'politically incorrect'. . .and they should be treated accordingly. . .they need to 'feel' certain constraints in their speech and opinions; be it Media or our Colleges and Universities. . .

. . .and then we should address our 'newcomers', arriving from certain areas of the world. Think we should not let them into our Country without sponsors, who can guarantee their goodwill. . .and take those same categories of people, already here, and if they cannot show that they are people of 'goodwill', then we send them home.

Think the intrusions of Government should be felt first, by those who already take issue with out kind of Government and lifestyle. . .those who declare their determination to thwart it, or destroy it. . .

. . .and personally do not think the 'laws of our land' should apply or benefit any terrorist who commits an act of violence against our country or it's innocent citizens. . .

Just a few thoughts and maybe not such good ones. . .but that is where I think 'Government involvement' should begin and end. . .
