Or you can call Ari Fleisher's office. A photo op of President Bush personally opening the headgates at Klamath would do more to consolidate the conservative base than pictures of T-ball on the White House lawn. Or you can just talk to the person answering the phone. There is also a White House comments line.

Above all, be polite.

You can also call your Senators or Congressman and support the Klamath farmers.

The picture with the rainbow in the background reminds me of something that happened here on the morning after the bombing.

A friend of mine told me she'd seen a rainbow and wondered if others had. I told her that people had been calling in to area radio stations reporting the same thing. There wasn't even a hint of rain.
