You posted, "There are people at FR who actually believe that Maher was supporting the military in his comments yet he refuses to acknowledge that the "cowardice" he spoke of was directed at Clinton. If this is not the case, then he is a liar and a shameless Clinton apologist because he is the "coward" that launched the attacks on the aspirin factory. Not the Congress, not the military, and certainly not the American people.

But if I heard him correctly on the Tonight Show, he was implying that the American people shared in the act he desribed as cowardice by not opposing it and stopping it. Yet there are people who are insisting this dog-breathed clown is a supporter for the military on FR! C'mon folks."

Right on! Maher in this incident and his past re hatred of what conservatives value is one of definers re real conservatives versus pseudo conservatives.

Maybe Maher can run for president on their special so called conservative party after they leave FR and the rest of America! They can lust after him and try to deceive us to protect him. They deserve him! They love Maher, hate profiling, GW, republicans and would have us do nothing to revenge the mass murder of about 7,000 innocents on 9/11! Humm, again they sound just like liberals after your rip the flag off that they wrap themselves in! Isn't that funny! As GW said, "You are either with us or against us!" Maher and his supporters are not with us!

Re. #39.

There is certainly something unsettling about those who seek to defend people like Maher and insert words in his mouth. If they want to make a point, they should just do it. Why enlist this clown as your oracle when it's clear he is not willing to make the same arguments?

Why seek to defend this loser and construct these elaborate methods of coming to his defense when he himself does not even suggest such claims?

Why would people of sense try to defend this loser? There is a thread here on FR where one guy was actually defending what a Backstreet Boy said about how the U.S. may have provoked this attack!!!

The people defending these losers are smart enough to know better so it makes you wonder what motives lurk deep in their hearts.

Do we all need to become one jingoistic ant-intellectual mush of patriotism right now? No. But we sure don't need people who are seeking to advance their insidious anti-U.S. bias by putting words in people's mouths and defending those who clearly mean more harm than good to the U.S.
