Thanks, John! How about extending this "imaginary FReeper" concept to actually allowing someone from each bump_list to create a profile page, like you do for the semi-imaginary (!) Sidebar Moderator, where they could archive classic OLDER threads of importance to that "Special Interest Group" - since clicking on the bump_list itself will only recover threads less than about thirty days old?
Also, the new way I'll be handling TO searches will allow indexing to the beginning of time.
Of course, the problem with that is that it leaves only a select few in charge of a bump list's "official" nature.
Also, bump lists die out after about a week, not a month, which makes archiving that much more imporant.
A suggestion: If you're going to archive posts for bump lists, do it in CHRONOLOGICAL, not alphabetical order.
One other small thing, John: "Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racist or violence posts."
That should probably be "NO racism or violence in post.s"
