I for one am concerned about the whales and elephants. It seems everyone today wants to kill a whale or elepehant. That's gonna leave us illegal poachers out of business. I remember when there were only a few of us, and back then we all knew each other by name. Now it's like I go into the backcountry, or kayak next to a hump whale, and everyone is tripping over each other, or ramming each other on the water.
I'm serious! My supply of tusks is dwindling, so my scrimshaw business is down.
My summer's end, whale rib barbecue was a flop this year....and with the onset of winter, I need more blubber to boil down for heat and light.
