Its because of the grace of Allah, he said, that we are alive today. No, Abdullah, it is because of the merciful actions of the soldiers of a Christian nation.

Holy Mackerel. American soldiers risk their lives getting them out of their trucks before they are bombed, and they complain about it? And they say they owe their lives to Allah? I don't think so.

Its because of the grace of Allah, he said, that we are alive today. Wrong, sucker. You are alive by the grace of U.S. Special Forces.

How will they feed their families now? Mr Mohammed asked. What is the point of this? I'm sure some of the survivors of the Twin Towers have asked the same thing.
Hey Mr Mohammed, we have an old saying in these parts....What goes around, comes around!

Abdullah is grateful to have escaped with his life, but he gives no credit to the Americans
efforts to avoid civilian casualties by removing the drivers from the convoy.
I think we now have an OBJECTIVE, QUANTITATIVE reason to prevent Muslims from
immigrating to the USA.
We don't want a stupid country full of Abudullahs. What a moron. The US soldiers risk
detection and death to spare his life (and his buddy) and this is how the typical
Islamic mental process works?
Keep these morons the freak out of my beloved country!

"Why the heck did they let us go?" wonders Abdullah. "In my country we stuff as many infidels and enemies into the tanker, then we torch it."
He then added, "But the evil Americans must die because of all those poor orphans with big sad eyes they killed! Rah-rah!"
Stuff like this makes me feel good to be an American: our guys get the job done while doing theri best to avoid even the deaths of armed enemies. I doubt there have been to many countries like that in history.

Before setting off on their journey from the Iranian border, many try to camouflage their garishly painted trucks with branches and tumbleweed found in the desert. WOW, how clever. We'd never be able to figure out that the giant tree moving down the highway was someone trying to smuggle something in to the Taliban. ;o)

I'm glad you found this article, I read it in the Washington Post (no that is not my paper of choice, hubby found it). I was trying to figure how to post it and stay within FR's guidelines. Thanks, I love this story. This is how I always thought they operated, clean, quick and to the point and get out of there.

He believes that a higher force intervened that night. Yea, you can call the forces higher. We call them Special.

Blackened barrels that had once held petrol and paraffin lay scattered around a charred lorry. Bullet-holes perforated the side of one of the tankers. Anyone know what they are using paraffin for?

Before setting off on their journey from the Iranian border, many try to camouflage their garishly painted trucks with branches and tumbleweed found in the desertPerhaps they were destroyed because many of these trucks have pictures of Sadam Hussein or Osama Ben Laden painted on them. Many truck drivers spend huge sums of money to have their trucks hand painted with the pictures of these terrorists. Most of the people in Afghanistan are not buying oil or fuel. This fuel would have been used by our enemies. This was a good move by the U.S. war planners.

I don't believe this story.
There's no way they go to this kind of trouble to save a truck driver. Sounds like propaganda to me.

PLEASE NOTICE THE PETROL WAS COMING FROM IRAN. KEEP WATCHING IRAN...THOSE DRIVERS SPOKE FARSI...AND OUR SPECIAL FORCES KNEW IT, BECAUSE THEY SPOKE IN FARSI...NOT PAKISTANIS, NOT IRAQIS, THEY WERE IRANIANS...

. But while their lives were spared, their livelihoods were not. Without the money to replace the tankers, the drivers are out of work. How will they feed their families now? So, he could better provide for his family if he were dead?
But then who would petey jennings interview to show how mean our US troops are?
You know, between the fbi, abortionist, and petey jennings, we had enough threats to the nation, it is nice to have the taliban, finally a group, we can shoot at.

This is cruel and excessive, Aktar Mohammed said. In the third paragraph, when he thought that he was being woken up by a fellow Afghan, he expected to die within seconds. Now that he knows it was Americans that spared his life, their conduct becomes "cruel and excessive".
