While I never had any interest in that sort of music, I think it's important to note who it was that Jesus took his message to. He preached to the whores and tax collectors, not the elite society members. And he was condemned roundly for it too.

Paul said that God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. I don't think that principle has been revoked.
