We ??? Homeboy!!.....Forest Hills resident here. I work in Old Hicory mostly....34 miles each way crosstown ...6 days a week.

Phil came out against the state income tax a few days ago. But you're right he'd find a way to get it somehow...what's a little tax to a guy worth 2-400 million right. Anyhow...even if Phil were Tom Delay in drag I wouldn't want a Dem guv because of the strategical implications if for no other reason but I fear it's Phil's to lose ..so far.

Regards

Yes. In typical Bredesen weasel words, he said something to the effect that "An income tax now is not the answer." That of course means that if he wins, he will get in office, blame everything on past Governors, and institute an income tax later.

You have to remember what a snake Bredesen is. He jacked up everyone's property valuations then dropped the property tax rate so that he now crows that he cut property taxes. The reality is, Nashvillians had their taxes raised so high that it forced many people to sell and move.
