Morning vampire!

They'll probably try to sell this crap as some sort of national security enhancement.

A U.N. operation?
"Olson also is disturbed by Bush's reliance upon resolutions passed by the United Nations Security Council and the United Nations Participation Act as authorization for his actions – something he did not mention in the proclamation declaring a state of emergency.

"In this EO, Bush not only uses the National Emergency Act and IEEPA, he intermixes Security Council resolutions and the U.N. Participation Act," said Olson. "That's the one that authorizes military forces to be committed to the U.N. projects. It looks like the president is turning this into a U.N. operation."

I would say that for some the answer is a resounding yes!
Don't forget the ruby slippers so that when this comes to pass everyone can chant, "There's no place like America."
Personally, I don't think there will be "an America" if things continue to go like they appear to be going.

Ahem, sounds rather Biblical doesn't it. You know that book of fables? lol

You say the U.N. isn't our friend, we don't have friends, especially not most of our politicans, maybe not even our President, it will be interesting to see Bush's response at this meeting. Personally, I think it is all the man lives for, I would be very happy to be proven wrong about that. Remains to be seen.

From this thread: "ALERT: Major Data Collection Bill, HR 3801":

3) A LARGE LOOPHOLE DECIMATES THE PROHIBITION OF A NATIONAL DATABASE BY ALLOWING INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS LIKE UNESCO (a mammoth division of the United Nations) AND THE ORGANIZATION FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT (OECD) (an international governance structure that works cooperatively with the United Nations) TO HAVE INDIVIDUALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION ON YOUR CHILD. (See below for the types of sensitive information these global bureaucracies will have on children starting before birth).

Head, meet house.
