First, some relevant facts:
1. Mr. Alzona submitted this controversial flier, solely as testimony on behalf of the Maryland Tyranny Response Team, directly to members of both the Maryland Senate and House Judiciary Committees during last week's hearings. This flier was submitted in OPPOSITION to a NAZI-like gun control bill that called for the photographing, fingerprinting, numbering and registration of all Maryland gun owners.
2. Montgomery Democrat leaders, Senators Frosh and Van Hollen, plus Delegate Mark Kennedy Shriver, were the lead sponsors of their proposed final solution to the problem of "gun violence" allegedly afflicting Maryland's children.
3. The multi-million dollar Kennedy Shriver campaign has enlisted the help of RINO congresswoman Morella to eliminate a leading Maryland spokesman for gun rights and the U.S. Constitution.

Dear Representative Morella I want you to know that I support Gus Alzona and his stance in defending the entire Bill of Rights, including the 2nd Amendment, and I wish that you did as well. If anyone should resign, it is squishy "go along to get along" Republicans-In-Name-Only (RINOs) like yourself who are willing to watch the 2nd amendment be erased from the Bill of Rights one letter at a time.
And I find the analogy to the pre second world war Nazis perfectly apt. The rest of the Nazi horror was only made possible by the confiscation of all privately owned firearms. And as history teaches, that confiscation was only made possible by the prior registration of all of those firearms.
Is that the historical path you wish to go down again? Or do you just smile brightly and say every day "it can't happen here, it just can't.....because we're different and better"? Historically, such naivete has always proven fatal in the end. Just ask the Jews of 1930s Germany.

To this day, it is still true: more children are killed by unloaded handguns than by loaded handguns. If you doubt me then just read the quote from the kid who pulled the trigger: "I thought the gun was unloaded."
My point is that guns do NOT jump off the shelf and kill people.
Hence, passing laws to feel good about yourself is just a futile gesture in a mindless blame game, with the purpose being to avoid blaming yourself for improper respect for the safety of your own children.
Don't forget that in 1928 [before gas chambers, mass deaths, even before Hitler in power in 1933 ], the good Germans voted for gun registration and licensing. I'm sure they did not anticipate gas chambers any time soon , either.
But when they established registration and licensing, the Nazis only had to not renew---
In 1938, ten years later, the Nazi Weapons Law became effective -- "(1) Firearms acquisition permits or firearms carry permits are only to be granted to persons of undoubted reliability, and only if a demonstration of need is set forth....."
Senator Dianne Feinstein told Sam Donaldson on national tv (I saw it) that if she had "51 votes in the Senate, it would be Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them in."

What people had better get through their thick skull is Democrats do not want to co-exist peacfully with Republicans. They only want to co-exist until they are able to control, dominate and eventually drive us out of our own communities.
What was addressed in post 15 is going to be what happens to us if we are not very careful with trying to get along with the other side.
I really can't stress this enough:
YOU CAN'T GET ALONG WITH DEMOCRATS!!!!!
It's as simple as that.
If the Democrats continue on the path set by Tom Daschle, consistent with the hate filled attacks on Bush, Ashcroft, and others referred to above. We may someday be in the same situation as the Israelis and the Palestinians. The main difference between the Israelis and the Jews of Germany in the 1930's and 1940's is that they are ARMED! If they were not, they would be dead.
So what? I doubt that it is meant to do that.
but will be used by the Rats to discredit everything the TRT says from now on.
Playing the appeasement game out fo fear of offending the opponents doesn't work.
TRT isn't out to win the PR spin game by being the smiling face of the yuppie gun owner who only shoots clay and paper. TRT isn't trying to win the intellectual debates with indepth research and reams of facts. TRT isn't trying to politely persuade the legislators to please stop being such tyrants.
But then again, the NRA isn't getting into ANYONE'S face over RKBA, now is it?
You don't need to approve of everything some 2A group does. But you don't have to condemn them either. This fight isn't for the faint of heart. It may very well get worse before it gets better.
