...FReepers my age might remember when Americans booed Beatle John Lennon for saying "we(Beatles) are more popular than Jesus Christ". Lennon got his comeuppance for the remark and this little trollop is due one too!

IMO, the sooner Spears gets off the public stage the better.

Spears 15 minute fame clock is ticking faster all the time. She appeals to kids and kids are not only fickle but have short memories. Brittany's replacement will be along any minute now and she'll be a has-been; doing guest shots on TV sit-coms and singing to small audiences in smaller halls. Hey, that's show biz, kid.

Before dumping on Brittany, let's look at the fans. Brittany is just out making a buck and doing quite well for a 20 year old. The fans are idiots for thinking that spears owes them something and they are even bigger idiots for being fans a talentless, overhyped, yes she's very attractive, 20 yr. old nobody.

Entertainers gain success by selling an illusion. Brittany is no exception. I know nothing about her morals, nor care to. The illusion is that 'other girls can be just like her' or 'the right boy can be with her'. The sexy, slutty, trollop, whatever ... are just part of the 'show'. And she's doing wonderful marketing herself. If you like her, great ... if not, that's OK too. But she did flunk a really basic PR rule. Always, always, always acknowledge your fans. Without fans, you are truly nothing. In politics, acting, sports and business, without acknowledging your supporters, you are setting yourself up for a major downfall.

Britney has zero acting talent. I saw her on Saturday Night Live and she could not deliver her lines, could not fit into the act at all. It was very clear that she couldn't believe she was actually sharing the spotlight with other actors.....she was really a disaster. I don't think any amount of coaching will help. Like Vanna White, the pretty co-star of Wheel of Fortune who has had a huge following of fans for years but totally flopped in movies, Britney is an 8 x 10 glossy, not a human being with depth of emotion and more than two facial expressions.

. . . some fans were left in tears after hopes of meeting their idol were dashed.Well, that's what you get for having "an idol."

Yes, the words trailer trash come to mind when I see Britney (the name "Britney" tells you something). This crap ("oh baby, baby" and the other song "baby, baby, baby") appeals to teens and pre-teens. Now we have teens and pre-teens wanting to be like this slut. I don't know where she came from ,but I will guess she came from a trailer park in some poor southern state.
Do her lips get tired during a "concert"?

"Britney has zero acting talent ..."
You got that right. I had to review that film stinker of hers called "Crossroads". I eventually gave up and wrote nothing - it was pathetic.

This crap ("oh baby, baby" and the other song "baby, baby, baby") As opposed to the eloquent "She Loves You, Yeah, Yeah Yeah"? Kidding aside, I am consistently amazed at the amount of vitriol directed at Spears. She has zero political interests/leanings (as far as I can tell), and doesn't seem to cause anybody any harm (except the teary fans here, I suppose). Why the strong emotions over a simple pop star?

A very provocative expose....

You know, I've thought about the decision "not" to write a review, and all your points are quite correct. However, there is an old axiom that even bad news in show business is better than "no" news ... it was on this basis I decided to let it drop.
Sorry to disappoint, but at the time, it seemed like the correct decision.
