Israel remains strong, UCI student tells rally

Costa Mesa -- Despite suicide bombings that turned pizza parlors and shopping malls into war zones, Israel is still magical, a UCI student told that nation's Orange County supporters Wednesday night.

The sun still melts over the rose-tinted stones of Jerusalem. Jews from places like Russia, Ethiopia and Argentina still elbow their way into crowded markets.

"The Palestinians are fighting for their lives. ... They don't have equal rights. They don't have control of their own roads. There are checkpoints that bar them from going about their daily lives."

You mean like blowing up women and children?

Really? That's funny, they didn't "fight for their lives" prior to Oslo (there were no suicide bombings prior to OSLO).
