but, but, but, they just won the fight to let them in. To force them out now would be divisive, discriminatory, politically incorrect, homophobic, hateful, biased, prejudiced, etc., etc., etc.

Catholic Church said to be struggling to keep homosexuals out
How does one go about doing this? Is asking sufficient, or do they hook candidates to machines and show them pictures of various naked people to see what causes the greater emotional response?

"...a struggle to make sure that the Catholic priesthood is not dominated by homosexual men," Gregory told a news conference ..."
Well,uh, excuse me, but isn't there a document from the beginning of Vatican II, in 1961, that says homosexual men can't be ordained in the firstplace? And if they aren't ordained in the first place, ie, if the magisterium is followed correctly, then the head of the NCCB wouldn't be struggling so "to make sure that the Catholic priesthood is not dominated by homosexual men."
Is it just me or does Bishop Gregory sound downright absurd? His statement implies another... 'gee willikers, its ok as long as they don't dominate' while he winks at the Vatican document.
His double talk is an implication in itself.

This is THE ISSUE. Always has been. The media blatantly will deny it (and I've had many dialogues with the marxian rag SF Chronicle about this), they are covering for the HOMOSEXUAL/GAY agenda, and cannot possibly risk having homosexuality called homosexuality. There is no having an objective discussion, because the facts and definitions are unnacceptable to the left. Once you approach the argument using this methodology, their superficial argument falls apart, and they resort to calling you a homophobe and gay basher. Try it some time, you'll get the same result.

"Not only that it is not dominated by homosexual men, but that the candidates we receive are healthy in every possible way, psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually." Well, God bless the Pope and the Catholic Church, and I hope they don't mind me saying so, but homosexuals ARE SICK in every possible way, psychologically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually.

Does this mean the truth is out in the mainstream news, that the Catholic Church seminaries have been infiltrated by homosexuals? Or is the story still, Priests, being forced to deal with unnatural celibacy and sexual morality, finally lost it and began attacking young children, mainly boys because the church teach women are inferior, so having sex with them would be like having sex with animals?

"It is an ongoing struggle. It is most importantly a struggle to make sure that the Catholic priesthood is not dominated by homosexual men," Gregory told a news conference after the first session of talks which are to last until Wednesday.I hate to break it to you, Father, but the Church is dominated by homosexual men.

It is an ongoing struggle. Here's exactly what's wrong. Why is there a struggle?! For God's sake - homosexuality shouldn't even be an issue. Duh! A homosexual priest is an oxymoron.

Remember all those people who said homosexuality doesn't hurt anyone? Well it is hurting about 600 million catholics.

"That is the ongoing concern of seminaries."Yes, but who controls the seminaries? The seminaries in my diocese are churning out homosexual priests. Who is in control? I believe it is the bishop. Here, the bishop is gay, as is my pastor and his associate. This past Sunday, the pastor advised the parishioners that we would be "blessed" with the presence of a seminarian during the summer months.
I'm not a betting person but I'd wager that he, too, will be a homosexual. Sigh!

So, only homosexuals want to be priests? That's a large hunk of bovine manure! There are good, intelligent men out there, willing to be celebit, willing to fulfill the duties of a priest, that don't get the opportunity because the homos fill the ceminaries! I'm not blaming this on faggots, I'm just bringing to light what has been discovered already. The priesthood, where I came from, was a noble, and honorable profession, and a profession that richly deserved the honor that they got. I was never hurt by a priest, unless I screwed up in school, which I did often, then they spanked by butt. It was, I assure you, well deserved, cause I was the demon seed in school, but I did yield the authority of corporal punishment...I am not an idiot!
The attack on the Church started lond ago. The liberal church members wanted complete control. Well, that's been done! His name was Henry the VIII, and it's now called the Episciopal Church. If these zealots want what they spew, go to the Episcipols. We will always be Catholic, as Christ gave his Rock, Peter, to establish His Church, he gave us the faith to preserve His word. This will not change, that is the word of Christ! PERIOD!.............Media....You can't change the word of God! You can lie, and you can swindle, but the more you do, the deeper into the pit of hell you go. I'll be playing golf in Heaven while you are burning in Hell....think about that!
This "crisis" means that we will have fewer priests with more resolve, and better morals, that will teach my children by example, that sounds good to me. Those a$$hole, pressitutes, don't understand....when God closes a door, He opens a window! Nothing that God does, doesn't have a "good thing" attached, and a happy ending.

The Church is in for a good pruning of dead wood, and the Pope is wielding the shears. May it grow back stronger and more faith-filled than ever. Amen!
