A man who loves God above all else, a man who is willing to give up carnal desires for the God he loves.

A celebate priesthood isn't anything new. St. Paul, the apostle, was celebate and Jesus Himself spoke favorably upon celebacy if it was chosen for God and serving God. Like marriage, the priesthood is a Vocation, and something to be revered and given into fully.
