At it's base, the liberal value system is very confused. One sees examples of this all the time. OK to abort unborn babies (or even to murder them during birth) but OK to spare felonious murderers from the gas chamber. The problem arises from a lack of spiritual grounding -- a dividend of the sixties "revolution". They are soul-damned.
