IT'S NOT OVER
When news broke a few weeks back that Bill Clinton might launch a talk show of his own, his associates made a big deal of saying their boss is interested in becoming the 'next' Oprah Winfrey.
Now word comes from Chicago that Winfrey herself may be interested in helping the president out.
According to a freelance production assistant at Winfrey's Harpo Productions in Chicago, where Winfrey's show is shot, some staffers are curious to see just how good Clinton could be in their environment.
There is an ongoing discussion to bring Clinton in for several shows on issues of national importance such as race.

Truly befitting of our first 'black president!'

According to a freelance production assistant at Winfrey's Harpo Productions in Chicago A production assistant is basically a fancy name for a gopher. This guy/gal does nothing more than bring coffee and doughnuts to the set. Take it with a grain of salt.

But they do spill the beans about what is happening..
To: Rightwing Canuck
Oh, and also, he's/she's 'freelance'. A freelance gopher is basically non-existant. This person probably just walked by the studio one day and saw Oprah. Delusions of grandeur...
To: Rightwing Canuck
If she heard liberals plotting, I will believe even a 'gopher.'
No way is NBC going to give The Toon 50 million without seeing the 'goods' so to speak first.
To: codebreaker
Actually I hope it does happen. Then maybe the world will see that Oprah is a hypocrite, as she turned down Bush's request then does a 180 and helps out Clinton.
To: Rightwing Canuck
Of course Oprah will do this! It will be a ratings bonanza..

Its hard to imagine a black conservative lear on Oprah's staff.. but it could happen
To: codebreaker
What are they going to call it, THE OPIE AND DOPIE SHOW?

It could be the best thing for driving the final nails in the clintons' "legacy" coffin- these chattering-head elitists in LA, and DC, and NYC have no conception of the loathing many common people feel for them & X42...
Just as he was fading into sort-of obscurity, they bring him back, in your face, in everyone's living room.

And Ofrah is made to feel self important with the Toon on talking about 'tolerance' and diversity.

" Even bigger than Springer? "
Of course bigger than springer..........after all springer is just a wannabe too
Heck he was never impeached and cheered....he was just a mayor ( cincy) who payed a hooker with a bad check.
In fact Springer could be x42's ed machman (sp)

At least Springer is in on the joke and doesn't consider himself the second coming..
To: codebreaker
Very true I saw Springer once say he was "amazed" they payed him for this and most guest disgust him.
And, yes I've seen him ....what else is there to do but sleep, read or watch trash tv. Too many days in a pilots lounge waiting on corporate fare to come back........thank god I now have a day job:)

Sure, Clinton could replace Dr. Phil.
"I feel your pain."
To: Kakaze
This would be the definition of 'trash TV.'
To: Rightwing Canuck
This guy/gal does nothing more than bring coffee and doughnuts to the set. This was Roger Clinton's job on the set of Evening Shade.
