BAC, If I recollect right, this guy was the head of the Marshall service. Those folks who started the ball rolling at Ruby Ridge. He was also an extreme appologist for the actions of the BATF post WACO. This guy wants NO civilians to have access to firearms for self defense purposes. As he mentioned in this article, "they" are bringing in others to care for the pilots while they fly the plane. I DON'T like this guy, or anybody like him! Peace and love, Gerge.

The people, OTOH, are well qualified to hunt down and kill the b*stards who sold them out.

I thank my Government everyday for its existance and its ability to protect me from people like you.

You know, I firmly believe it's time for Americans to start to exercise their 2nd amendment rights, everywhere, always, no exceptions.

"No one is saying America doesn't have serious problems, but like Ronald Reagan, I know America is still the greatest nation in history."

I agree. But only because we've gone down the craphole a little slower than the rest of the world.

"All in all, I believe most of the Founding Fathers would be gratified, proud and even overjoyed, if they could actually see, what their governing/political experimentation has developed into."

Good grief.

They would have attempted a revolution years ago. Today, our ideas bear little if any resemblance to theirs. The sheer size and power of government today would have them reaching for their weapons.

To persist in any contrary delusion will only hurt matters. If you're optimistic about our future, you're not paying attention.

Thanks for the flag. Travis McGee and harpseal both have posts on that thread that are still waiting for valid replies. I'm sure that something viable can be ascertained that will prove more viable than conferring the federal government's business-as-usual total vote of no confidence in the American people.

You're welcome, couldn't agree with you more and you are absolutely correct.

I have replied to both privately...but the "nine year old girl" in me keeps me from returning publicly to that thread.

Don't let that bug you. Travis is a good guy. He's a confrontational sort, which, being part Irish, I guess I can relate to. $;-) I've seen your posts and those from "paddles", as well, and we all seem much more like than unlike in our perspectives. Travis and harpseal both have been there, done that, and lived to talk about it, and none of us like to be treated like the 3rd graders that the FedGov seems to think we are. Bottom line, there's no honor in government bureaucrats who would rather shoot down an entire aircraft than allow the citizens on board at least a fighting chance. They can't guarantee absolute safety, and they know it. It's all about control, which again, is without honor.

To some folks reality and normalcy is what ever they say it is. Remember Clinton....depends on what is , is?

The case of changing realities. It was not adultery because it was oral sex...depends what is is

I thought 3,000 innocents murdered would be enough for everyone to get a clue. I guess I was wrong. What happens next time if it is 30,000?
