DETROIT -- A Gaylord, Michigan teen and his 20-year-old brother never imagined that dressing up in black masks and Ninja warriors costumes could lead to a brush with the law. They were wrong.

A dozen police officers shut down Interstate 75 Wednesday night to detain them. A frightened truck driver had reported that they were waving a gun and a sword at him and looked dangerous, state police Sgt. Michael Rogers said.

Once my sons and their friends were making a "Ninja" movie. They decided to go to the local state park to film the final scene. After they left the house I thought to call the State Park Ranger's office and let him know what they were doing. He thought it was pretty funny. They filmed their final "death scene" and returned home. No problems.

"19-year-old and his brother were too upset to drive"

19 and 20 yrs old, dressing up in costumes and waving plastic swords are probably too imature to drive anyway.
This is something 10 year olds do.
Hint to mom: let your "boys" grow up.

Maybe as punishment - they should be drafted. Then they can learn how much more serious and useful things kids 2 years younger than them are doing.

They used to do things like that before this nation became so wussy-whipped.

About one week after the 1991 Luby's Cafeteria Massacre in Killeen, TX the movie "Free Johnny Dangerously" came out in theaters.

A local movie house in Arlington, TX thought a great promotion would be to stage a ganster shoot-out in front of the ticket windows.

Details given were that up to three persons fired movie-prop Thompson Machine guns at each other and scared the wits out of a few hundred people at the ticket window and parking lot.

Some how or another, the local LEO's did not kill any of the perps when they arrived. Pretty much half the Police Department and Medical Emergency crews responded to this prank.

"One police source was quoted as saying, in reference to the 19 and 20yr old, 'They claimed their pet turtle made them do it'."

"It is unclear at this present time whether this was a direct reference to the turtle star Raffielo(consistantly misspelled?), also the name of one of the boys pets. ....meanwhile, Leonardo and Donatello couldn't be reached for further comment, though Raffielo was said to have been released 3 hrs ago. Police have asked Raffielo to remain in the area for further questioning as to his involvement in this bizarre situation."

"More to follow at 11, Chuck."
