Prayers for your Dad, and that you make the right "decisions".

What does the term, "99% aphasic" mean? I am just curious, not that I need any info to pray fervently for your Dad and your family.

Aphasic - Partial or total loss of the ability to articulate ideas or comprehend spoken or written language, resulting from damage to the brain caused by injury or disease.

Aphasia is the loss of speech.

Greg, my prayers are with you and your family. My father suffered the same type of stroke when he was in his 70's. He spent months in rehab and was able to speak (with difficulty), walk with a cane and do most self-care upon his return. Please seek another opinion before giving up hope.
