Re: the "final footnote" on Padre Pio who was canonized today after a long life of holiness. First, Monsignor Nobody and his 200-page report must have really carried a high degree of credibility since no less a liberal than Paul VI tossed it in the trashcan and got the Vatican out of the way of Padre Pio's ministry. How likely is the canonization of such as John Allen, ROSEMARY RADFORD REUTHER!?!?!? or anyone else associated with the National Catholic Reporter? How shameful, how utterly shameful!
