Not much meat in all the whining (typical of this paper), but some interesting quotes: I wonder if "how far it goes" relates to distance.

Here we go with the home grown hate America al Fuqra spinoff, the Black Muslims, using the phoney civil rights Bravo Sierra to keep any investigations from their home grown terrorists.

If the Muslim community doesn't like it, the Muslim community can just get the hell out. What is it going to take to persuade these people to shut up or leave?

The Black Muslims, the ACLU, Black Caucus and other lawyers who say they are protecting the constitution have been setting the stage for the above reality cartoon for over a decade.

An innocent person has nothing to hide.
They should take it in stride.
If an American liberal extremist were bombing other nations for their non support of abortion, those nations would distrust all Americans. How would they know who works for abortion advocates without investigation?

You're wearing clothes? What have you got to hide?

When we were children, we would sometimes hide behind mother or father if frightened. It's an understandable reaction.

When we become adults, we are expected to not hide behind others. Those who would shred the Rule of Law while uttering the insipid phrase, "What have you got to hide?" are the worst kind of cowards.

It's easy to be in favor of freedom when things are good. It takes guts to be in favor of freedom when the demons are mucking about.

I agree with you regarding the rights of US citizens (like Padilla), but regarding Hassoun, he is illegally in this country and he is entitled only to deportation (if his crimes are limited to immigration) or imprisonment (if his crimes are worse.)

I finally got around to reading "American Jihad" by Steve Emerson and it was an eye-opener. None of these groups mentioned have any credibility and most of these people have allowed terrorists to speak at their meetings if they are not raising money for terrorists in the first place. These groups in Southern Florida are especially guilty of promoting terrorism.

This man is not an American citizen. And, he's a Muslim. In my book, he has no rights. I'm a lawyer, incidentally, and a freedom-loving one. But I draw the line with Muslim non-citizens who have a history of supporting terrorism.

I'd shoot him in the back of the head, or deport him. He can choose.

I just ordered that at the library; waiting for it to come in this week. I'm looking forward to it very much, since hubby told me about the "American Jihad" video Emerson produced available here on the web.
