Just another result of taxing tobacco outside of this state. If the taxes were not there, they would not have a readily available market up north. BTW, just how much money can you make off smuggling cigarettes above Virginia?

Don't know but I bet you could make the most money in Calif.
They probably have the highest tobacco tax thanks to the pals of Henry "Nostrils" Waxman.

From nbc6 in Charlotte .....

In the first terrorism trial after September 11, two Lebanese brothers charged with crimes tied to a cell supporting the militant group Hezbollah have been found guilty by a federal court jury in Charlotte.

I was just getting ready to post this good news. I heard it last night coming home from a fishing trip.

The AP story in this thread is another example why our mediots are never to be trusted.

This jury had no problems. They apparently had a couple of legitimate questions.

The AP fairy tale writer, and he/she/it's editor waived their magical Fairy wand to make it look like a problem

These guys are going away for a long time. What really chaffs my hide is when these foreigners come to this wonderful benevolent country and then figure out ways to screw us.

God bless those jurors and God bless America.
