Circumstantial evidence and not all that great of a circumstance. If they were foreign nationals, could they open a bank account? Maybe you can get them on tax evasion, but having $5000 in cash is not such a big deal.

Boxcutters in a moving van? I have a couple dozen boxcutters in my warehouse and a few in my van. I need them to cut boxes down to size, likely they did too.

If they were "happy" about it, it reveals bad character I agree (and maybe she was wrong about what she saw). But maybe they were happy because they are loyal Israelis, and they realized that this meant that finally the USA was going to act against their enemy. As the guy said "We are not your problem, the Palestinians are". (Maybe not the Palestinians, per se, but Islamic Militants for sure, some of whom are Palestinian). If one guy said "Hey, now the USA is going to kick some Arab ass" his brother might say "Yeah!" and give him a high five. This could be easily misinterpreted if you only saw the actions of the high five from binoculars.

".... no one has been able to find a good explanation for why they may have been smiling with the towers of the World Trade Center burning in the background"

"... maybe they were happy because they are loyal Israelis, and they realized that this meant that finally the USA was going to act against their enemy"

My thoughts exactly.
