[history]
State and Fresno Unified leaders are determining what to do with publicly funded classroom furniture bought by GateWay Charter Academy, which recently lost its charter because of questionable debt and a list of violations. California Department of Education and Fresno Unified officials are discussing how the desks, chairs, shelves and other office supplies bought with taxpayer money by GateWay could be used and who should use it.

Be sure and really read this article, you will miss alot of interesting comments, and facts.
In particular that the Ca Dept of Justice is still investigating these Al-Fuqra operatives. I hope that the US Dept of Justice is participating as well.

GateWay attorney Frank Muna says the matter isn't over. He plans to file another lawsuit against the district, saying GateWay has determined who was behind spreading a rumor that charter-school leaders were linked to terrorists. Muna wouldn't say on what grounds it would be filed or when. Oh, I hope this lawyer files this lawsuit. The discovery alone would be a a treasure trove for the government, and I'd love to sit in on the depositions of al Furqa members. Perjury charges would not be out of the question.

Several of GateWay's founders are Muslim, and they say because of that, they were treated unfairly when the district questioned the school's ledgers, personnel and satellite campuses,GateWay missed several deadlines to turn over the information and Jan. 16, Fresno Unified trustees unanimously voted to strip the school of its charter.
GateWay's San Diego-based accountant, Roy Hosaka, said his firm is working on the audit and he hopes to have it done within the next month.
NOTE: Gateway has yet to provide the requested, and required accounting on WHERE IS THE MONEY, yet they still attempt to hide behind........RACISM!!!!

Didn't most of these people skip? I can remember seeing a news story a few weeks ago about them leaving the area and no one seemed to know their whereabouts.
That's what'd make that lawyer's threat of a lawsuit most interesting: where are his plaintiffs?

Oh, I hope this lawyer files this lawsuit.
They had previously filed this lawsuit, and then withdrew it just a few weeks ago. Since the money ran out,and at the same time they deserted Baladullah, the Islamic Village.
I really doubt they will refile this lawsuit, but who knows. It depends on our politicians attitudes I am sure.

Investigators believe that some members of the group are planning to move to a similar compound in rural Virginia known as Red House, according to the source. That community came under heavy scrutiny from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms last year when one of its leaders was charged and later convicted with weapons felonies.

I was wondering if they were going to head to Virginia...I don't think Colorado would welcome them back with open arms.

On second thought, they may not head for Virgina. This article says they had targets in 12 states, plus Canada. http://www.strategypage.com/messageboards/messages/72-886.asp
Finally, the locker yielded what Fenger termed "targeting packets" on potential targets and victims in Los Angeles, Arizona, and Colorado. These included maps of oil and gas fields and electrical facilities, notes on cell phone sites and repeaters, references to the U.S. Air Force Academy and other military locations, and lists of people in 12 states and Canada with Jewish or Hindu-sounding names. A trove of targeting packets tied followers of Gilani to the firebombings of the Hare Krishna temples in Denver and Philadelphia.

I just read about this. Thanks for keeping us posted, pal. It was quite a controversy and probably still is if the truth be known. Do you think we'll eventually have to FReep these creeps in order to get rid of them for good? For victory & freedom!!!
