To my mind and tastebuds, Maurices is now second to Sticky Fingers, especially the ribs. After that is Carey Hillards and Bill Hillard in Savannah.

But if I could only duplicate the sauce that my dad made - it puts all of them to shame!!!

Amazing that you remembered where I live. We are a small chapter (Harrisburg/Hershey/Lancaster) that have to freep the Monnonite pacifists when they gather on the Capitol steps. Like shooting fish in a barrell, its almost not worth it. lol.

I forgot your going to Vegas. Ahhh, wish my class reunion was not the same week-end. Even Fred is going, cool.

It was good to see you at the DC Chapter meeting. We do have to keep meeting like this though.

When it comes to BBQ sauce, ribs, etc., let me agree, I gotta get outta this place and go south of the Mason/Dixon line. These people can talk all they want up north here but nothing is better than Southern BBQ. I had an office in Greenville years ago. My manager there took me out to who knows where on the week-end for a pig-roast and BBQ and all the fixins. That was 20 years ago and still haven't tasted anything like it.

Sometimes I think I settled 700 miles too far north.
