South Carolina FReepers to meet July 20, 2002

The South Carolina Chapter of Free Republic will meet Saturday, July 20, 2002 at high noon at Maurice's Piggy Park.
The address is 9579 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC.
The phone number is 803-462-0882.
It should be easy enough to run this address at www.mapquest.com to get driving directions from your humble abode. Two Notch Road is Hwy. 1 which crosses I-77 and I-20 northeast of Columbia. Piggy Park will be north of both those exits on Hwy. 1.
Everyone is welcomed. Bring your children and your inlaws. Lots to talk about and a good opportunity to put faces with screen names and fill up on some good BBQ!

This election is so very important, and you can be certain I vote in every primary, primary runoff - and every election!!

Wilson is 11-months - I shudder to think about these 'wild' kids of mine in a restaurant with a bunch of 'wild' SC Freepers! Remember Damon's in Columbia on Bill of Rights Day? It was close to chaos...I wish more people would bring children...then all the trouble won't be blamed on me! (smile...)

With all due respect, can you please tell me why the meeting will be at Maurices? I just don't think this is the proper venue for a FR meeting. Maurice has a history of being too close to the edge for my comfort zone. Can you please consider another meeting place, I would like to attend.

I like Maurice's! I sent a case of his BBQ sauce to my northern (Virginia) parents along with a Confederate cook book! Great food! Great reading!
