WASHINGTON, July 26 A suspected terrorist planner linked to al-Qaida has been flown to the United States, where he is cooperating with the FBI, U.S. officials told NBC News. Officials said Friday that the man had admitted his involvement in a plot to bomb the U.S. and Israeli embassies in Singapore and could be called to testify against Zacarias Moussaoui, the only person charged with direct involvement in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
THE MAN, Mohamed Mansour Jabarah, 20, of Ontario, was arrested in Oman earlier this year.
Omani officials passed along information from Jabarah to U.S. officials, who then brought him to the United States to face probable terrorism charges. He was being detained Friday at a military base in the Northeast, where he was providing important information about Osama bin Ladens al-Qaida terrorist network, officials said.

"Muslims mark Ramadan "
When Mansour Jabarah rose before sunrise this morning, he prepared himself for a month-long fast to observe Ramadan.
Jabarah, along with more than one billion Muslims around the world, will not eat or drink water between dawn and dusk over that period. "It is recommended that we break our fast with dates as the Prophet (Mohammed) did," said Jabarah, president of the Islamic Society of St. Catharines.
Jabarah, who attends the Al-Noor Mosque on Geneva Street in St. Catharines, is one of between 3,000 and 4,000 Muslims in Niagara.
Ramadan is a time for reflection, devotion to God and exercising self-control. It is also a time to focus on worship, the reading of the Holy Koran, giving to charity and doing good deeds, said Jabarah.
Muslims pray five times a day. During Ramadan, they can add an extra prayer in the evening, he said.
Muslims usually start fasting in their early teens, said Jabarah, but added children are taught early about Ramadan...
They must think we're soooo stupid!
