I'm confused. If all he needed to get on the ballot was 2000 valid signatures, and he provided that many valid ones- what grounds did they site to exclude him? Fraud?

I doubt if it would have gotten caught unless members of it wanted to get caught. I think somebody wants Williams out.

They apparently held that they couldn't trust the Williams campaign officials who had signed for the apparently valid signatures. This was apparently a decision without parallel.

I'd still bet on Williams to win in November. In any case, whether or not he ends up winning, one thing that yesterday's decision assures is that the Democratic Party in D.C. is going to be drastically weakened. If Barry wants that, he really is one vindictive SOB.

Barry is garbage, no if's/and's/but's about it. But the entire DC establishment is unfit to run the place.

The Post article said that Williams' three options were to run as an Independent, provided he came up with 3,000 signatures to get on the ballot; run as a write-in democrat; and/or appeal the board's decision. If he couldn't get 3,000 legitimate signatures as a dem, it would be hard for him to get those as an independent before the Sept. 10 Primary. This is too funny.
