the way I figure it, what someone does in their own home is their business and I have no say so. If they bring it into my home it is my business and I have the right to say no.

Would your attitude be the same if you shared a thin common apartment wall with a muslim couple next door who was screaming in praise of Allah all the time?

if I can hear it in my home then it's no longer private. There's no need to make a nuisance of yourself to pray to the Lord.
