SEVERAL DEAD IN BLAST AT JERUSALEM'S HEBREW UNIVERSITY  - POLICE

    JERUSALEM, July 31 (Reuters) - A bomb blast tore through a 
cafeteria at Jerusalem's Hebrew University on Wednesday, causing 
at least 30 casualties, police and ambulance officials said. 
    Police called the explosion at the entrance to the Frank 
Sinatra Dining Hall a Palestinian attack. 
    Ambulances rushed to the university's Mount Scopus campus 
near Arab East Jerusalem, and emergency workers carried dozens 
of people out on stretchers. It was not immediately known 
whether anyone was killed in the blast. 
    The explosion followed a Palestinian suicide bombing in 
Jerusalem on Tuesday in which the bomber killed himself and 
wounded four people.

FOXNews reporter, David Lee Miller, giving his report by cell phone, on air, his voice choked with emotion reported a chaotic scene at the University. You could hear him telling police "I'm with my (video) crew" as he rushed into the actual Building...once inside the building, his phone lost signal...

Apparently one of his crew has relatives at the school. Thirty injured, several dead according to FOX. Miller, back on line, now reporting from the courtyard of the U. Video of blood soaked civilians, he describes an area with personal belongings just strewn about, blood everywhere...

Live feed shows many ambulances and stretchers of victims...

Israel says its blockades aren't meant to harm ordinary Palestinians, but to prevent suicide bombers from reaching Israeli population centers.

Well I guess this proves it works. Given a choice between difficulty purchasing pita bread and people being slaughtered every day, I guess the Arabs are just going to have to have blockaids. It is, after all, their choice.

From his vantage point, he says it was an extremely powerful blast, blowing out windows in the area, people perhaps injured by the flying glass too...

On another line, I just figured out why the media thought that there were secret peace overtures from the Hamas. They thought they over heard one talking about possible peace deals, but they were fooled by the guys thick Arabic accent. He was saying Pass-the-Bull peace offers....
