Is this great or what??? There are so many wonderful "quotes" in this article:

country's leading political families: the Kennedys and the Clintons.

We are truely doomed if these two are considered the country's "leading political families".

NEWS FLASH to Kennedy - if Terry McAwful is making the deicision - YOU'VE LOST!!!!

Whose convention is first?

If the GOPs is first, and if the republicans have an ounce of brain in their heads they will announce they are choosing NYC immediately thereby effectively blocking the Hildebeast AND giving them the opportunity to use the popularity of Rudy Guiliani in the campaign.

Of course when the last time the GOP didn't let the Toons walk all over them?

Don't be too sure. Politics makes strange bedfellows. Consider a trade-off: "You get Boston, I get the 2004 Democratic nomination with your full support."

You=EMK
I=HRC

Both get what they want.

Where to begin. This article reads like a who's who of organized political crime -- Hillary, Bubba, Ted, Terry, Rubin. There is also the obligatory angst over diversity. Look for Al Sharpton to step up to the plate as the token minority voice on behalf of NY.

power struggle between two of the country's leading political families: the Kennedys and the Clintons.

What's the matter? Not enough young women to rape and molest?

and with Clinton stepping up to provide extensive military resources in one of the Kennedys' most grievous moments: the July 1999 search for John F. Kennedy Jr.'s crashed airplane.

Another thing that burns me up. Hey, JFK Jr. was OK by me. I liked him. But he was a private citizen. Not everyone who crashes his Piper into the ocean gets a $7 million search within 24 hours.

''It's just a friendly competition, obviously,'' Clinton said during an interview last week. ''We are excited about having it in New York. He's very committed to getting it in Boston. I appreciate and respect that.''

Friendly? When it comes to power and Clintons, nothing is friendly.

But this article makes me happy. Democrats fighting Democrats. Hope it gets really nasty...

Hillary was so great at the 9/11 tribute in NYC. Apparently a few of the so-called "heroes" decided to boo the senator. don't worry. that won't be invited to the convention. They are already finding a way to keep those nasty White fire fighters out of the there. They don't understand what it means to be a democrat. A lot of them "listen to talk radio".

Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts is spearheading Boston's drive to host the party gathering, telling each of the Democrats' potential presidential candidates that, as he passes age 70, he wants to finally bring the convention to his home state.

I'm a Kennedy.

Its all about me.

I am more important than New York.

If I don't get my way I'll start drinking again and binge on lobsters and swiss cheese!

Has the Kennedys' time as the party's first family ended, with the torch being passed to a new generation, the Clintons?

Talk about going from BAD to WORSE. One problem with the whole idea is that Hillary only managed to have her one photo-op child. She can't really do the dynasty thing.

Boston or New York?

Why don't they compromise and hold it in Hanoi!

I had been hoping for San Francisco. Neither Boston or New York is remotely likely to have a 9.0 ricter scale earth quake, whereas there is some probability of that event during a Rat convention in San Francisco.

New York's fund-raising drive will be overseen by Robert E. Rubin

This guy ain 't out of the woods on the market collapse and the stories like Enron and World Com. He could be a step away from the cuffs' and cameras folks. He's the one guy that was directly involved with the Clintun government, Goldman Sacks, Enron, and Citibank. Watch the Citibank stock next week.

Maybe these two groups of criminal motherf**kers can solve this with pistols at ten paces.

Better make it two paces. I don't want any of them to miss.
