Just remember the so called "Assault Weapons Ban" expires in September 2004 unless it is renewed by Bush and Congress (which it won't be). Unfortunately, Bush has already said he would sign it if it came before him. It'll have to be stopped in Congress if it is to be stopped. The next Congressional elections will be crucial. If Dems take the House, expect a new bill, perhaps with even stricter language. If Repubs keep the House, expect to still have to fight to stiffen the spines of the masses of amoeboid Republicans in Congress.

September, 2004 the assault weapons ban expires? What perfect timing for the anti-constitution liberals... so close to the 2004 election... I wouldn't count on the law going away... maybe I'm cynical, but I see that becoming a big issue in the presidential election if it's that close...
