Go to any Gay Pride Parade and you will have the notion dispelled that gays are just like you and me. It is an absolute freak show, and I can understand the author's reaction.

I remember an article by the late, great Lewis Grizzard (unfortunately could not find it on the web anywhere), describing a day of "tubing" down the Chattahoochee River outside of Atlanta one summer.

Grizzard was with his two kids, a boy and a girl as I remember. He did not realize that the same day THEY had chosen for tubing, was the Greater Atlanta Gay Pride on the River (or similar title), where the homosexuals built rafts similar to parade floats (with much more explicit themes, however) and gang-****ed down the river together for the day.

Grizzard stated that the whole shootin' match overtook him and his kids, and after ten minutes of covering the kids' eyes with his hands, they aborted their trip.

His point was that the homosexuals make this a lousy, lousy world for others to live in. They are NOT like us, not by any stretch.
