Mujahideen Success As US Commandos Are Killed

12 August 2002: 309 days have passed since America launched its latest Crusade against Islam and its people. A number of Muslim prisoners were captured in this Crusade and taken to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba where they are being held in cages subject to Malaria, heatstroke and other tropical diseases. One of these prisoners is Khalid bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Zahrani (Abu Al-Jarrah) from Al-Kharj, Arabian Peninsula. His mother cries and prays to Allah for her son every night.

Azzam: The Mujahideen succeeded in killing 8 US Commandos and destroying 2 military vehicles in the Afghan province of Paktia. Meanwhile, 6 more US Commandos were killed in a supposed freak accident while they were on patrol in Kunar. According to reports, near the Lowera region of Paktia province, at the location of Farzai Shigah, unidentified men launched a rocket attack against US Commandos and local Afghan troops, who were all traveling in 2 vehicles. According to the initial reports received 8 US Commandos were killed in this attack. The attack itself was so massive that it reduced both vehicles to rubble.

Meanwhile, 6 more US Commandos were killed in a supposed freak accident while they were on patrol in Kunar. Reports indicate that 6 US Commandos were drowned when their military jeep fell into a river. It happened in the Asadabad region of Kunar. It has been stated that the jeep was on guard duty between the regions of Asadabad and Chagan. Although the real reason behind the accident is still unknown, the Afghan authorities blame this accident on the US forces, who it is alleged, have a tendency of not putting on their headlights while carrying out their security patrols. It has also been reported that until now the drowned torso's of the US Commandos have not yet been recovered.

40 Killed Near Jalalabad As Construction Company Has an Explosion

Azzam: 40 people were killed and 95 were injured when a massive explosion rocked Daronta, which is 8 km away from the Eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad. It occurred at 12:30pm on Friday afternoon. The deaths, although standing at 40, were relatively low, for a normal day, as a number of local education institutions were on holiday.

This explosion resulted in a total electricity blackout across the whole city. It has been reported that the explosion occurred in an International non-profit organisation called Afghan Construction and Logistics. The intensity of the explosion can be judged by the fact that buildings at a distance of 1km were also significantly damaged, however, 50 buildings were completely destroyed at the exact location of the incident.

The explosion also damaged the nearby University building, and due to the power cut, the injured were not attended to with proper medical care. The Vice Governor of the province of Nangarhar, Dr Asif could not make a link with any act of terrorism and but instead concluded that the construction company was known to use large quantities of explosives to use on rocky mountains.

Reports suggest that the explosion was detonated by a car bomb. The Daronta Dam machinery is totally out of service. 7 employees along with the deputy director of the company have been arrested in connection with this explosion. Afghan police and intelligence authorities said that they were aware of this explosion as threats of danger came to them, though despite the hight security it was still a strange explosion.

So much for the TIPS program.

Which is exactly why I wrote Santorum and Don Sherwood immediately thereafter.

If you add up the total number of American soldiers the Taliban and Al Qaeda spokesmen have claimed they've killed over the last year, its a wonder there are any Americans left at all.

Hmmm... Taliban passed a law that women could not have shoes that click, but it is OK for them to spend their money on this company...
